Very exciting news! As part of our efforts to improve the reserve we are going to be adding a reed bed to our bog area, just outside the Coffin Lodge!!!!!!!!!!
In the next month or so we will be going down to the Doffcocker Lodge, where we will be cutting reeds to transplant into the reserve. We will be being supervised/taught by Rick Parker from Bolton Conservation Volunteers.
