A new blackbird has joined us in the feeding area. He appears to be from foreign shores. He's jet black all over (so not a 1st winter male) but has a very black beak! He appears to be very keen on sultanas and mealworms!
Also, today a grey heron was lurking in one of the trees in the feeding area, just his head sticking out from the tree trunk.
